22.12.08 - Falkirk Council and The Highland Council are now insisting on £5 million public liability cover for tattoists and piercers! We can arrange this cover but do feel that it is excessive. It is like having an extra Tax of £200.00 put on your business. Pressure your council to make sure that they don't charge you this also.

Insurance World, best tattoo insurance deals

Insurance World exhibited at the 1st Liverpool Tattoo Convention. The two day show, on 7th and 8th June 2008, attracted over 35,000 visitors from all over the world.

The convention coincided with the Liverpool Capital of Culture 2008 celebrations and showcased the best Tattoo Artist's and Body Piercers from Liverpool, the rest of the UK and around the world.

Part of London Ink was also being filmed there with Phil Kyle and Dan Gold tattooing live at the event.

Following the show Carl Tero, Insurance World Associate Director commented “We had a fantastic time at the Liverpool Tattoo Convention. The visitors are some of the friendliest we have met and they certainly enjoyed visiting our stand”.

On a more serious note we provided 21 quotes and arranged 2 new insurance policies. However our real aim was to meet and listen to Tattooists to find out what they wanted from their insurance broker. At this show the artists we were talking to wanted the best cover without compromising on service, and an excellent claims handling service, we are now looking for any ways we can make improvements in our already excellent policies. We will be back there next year.
